Domperon suspension contains domperidone, a dopamine receptor antagonist that helps relieve nausea and vomiting by improving stomach emptying and reducing the sensation of nausea.
It is commonly prescribed for short-term management of nausea and vomiting in adults and children when appropriate. Domperidone should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration necessary because of its potential effects on heart rhythm.
