Indications / Uses

Zinnat 500mg Tablets are used in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

  • Acute streptococcal tonsillitis and pharyngitis
  • Acute bacterial sinusitis
  • Acute otitis media
  • Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
  • Cystitis (urinary tract infection)
  • Pyelonephritis (kidney infection)
  • Uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections
  • Early Lyme disease
Dosage & Administration

Adults and children ≥40kg:

  • Mild to moderate infections: 250mg twice daily
  • Severe infections (including otitis media, bronchitis exacerbation, Lyme disease): 500mg twice daily

Lyme disease duration: 10–21 days (typically 14 days)

  • Complete the full course even if symptoms improve
Possible Side Effects

Common side effects may include:
