Ontel AM combines two medicines that lower blood pressure through complementary actions. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. The combination is used when blood pressure requires treatment with both medicines.
