How to Take
- Usual adult dose: 1 tablet once daily
- May be adjusted by a doctor based on blood pressure response
Possible Side Effects
Common: Headache, flushing, dizziness, Peripheral edema, Abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, Hypotension (especially in volume-depleted patients)
Less common: Upper respiratory tract infections, Hyperkalemia, Insomnia or depression, Skin rash or pruritus
Serious but rare: Angioedema, Acute renal failure, Hepatic dysfunction
Contraindications (Do Not Use If)
- Allergy to cilnidipine, telmisartan, or any component of the formulation
- Cardiogenic shock, severe aortic stenosis
- Recent unstable angina or acute MI
- Severe hepatic impairment or biliary obstruction or kidney impairment
- Pregnancy (especially 2nd and 3rd trimester)
- Breastfeeding is not advised during treatment
Monitor blood glucose if used with antidiabetic therapy
