Co-Aprovel combines irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), with hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic.
Together they lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and promoting the elimination of excess salt and water.
This fixed-dose combination is intended for adults whose blood pressure remains inadequately controlled on irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. Long-term blood pressure control helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, heart failure, and kidney complications.
