Creon 10,000 IU capsules are gastro-resistant capsules containing pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy. They help digest fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in people whose pancreas does not produce enough digestive enzymes, including those with cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, or after pancreatic surgery.
The enteric-coated minimicrospheres release enzymes in the small intestine, where they assist normal digestion and nutrient absorption.
