Emadon syrup contains ondansetron, an antiemetic that works by blocking serotonin (5-HT3) receptors involved in triggering nausea and vomiting.
It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV). In selected cases, it may also be prescribed for nausea and vomiting associated with acute gastroenteritis under medical supervision.
The pleasant-tasting oral solution is suitable for adults and children when prescribed by a healthcare professional.
