Insulatard FlexPen is an intermediate-acting human insulin produced using recombinant DNA technology.
It has a gradual onset and prolonged duration of action, providing basal insulin coverage for blood glucose control.
It may be used alone or in combination with rapid-acting or short-acting insulin as part of an individualized diabetes management plan.
Uses
- Type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus requiring insulin

How to Take
- Inject subcutaneously once or twice daily exactly as prescribed.
- Rotate injection sites regularly.
Precautions
- Prescription-only medicine.
- Monitor blood glucose frequently.
- Store unopened pens in a refrigerator (2–8°C).
- Watch for symptoms of hypoglycaemia.
