Lipitor 10mg Tablets contain atorvastatin calcium, a statin that reduces cholesterol production in the liver by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase. Lower LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels, together with increased HDL cholesterol, contribute to improved cardiovascular health.
Lipitor is indicated for primary hypercholesterolaemia, mixed dyslipidaemia, heterozygous and homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia, and prevention of cardiovascular events in patients at increased risk.
Treatment should be combined with a cholesterol-lowering diet, regular physical activity, and other lifestyle measures.
How to Take
