Melastin cream is a topical skincare formulation intended to help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Its combination of pigmentation-targeting ingredients and antioxidants supports a more even-looking complexion.
Tranexamic acid helps address excess pigmentation, while kojic acid dipalmitate and alpha arbutin support skin-brightening by targeting melanin formation.
Mulberry extract and mulberroside F provide additional botanical skin-brightening support.
Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a vitamin C derivative, and alpha tocopheryl acetate, a form of vitamin E, provide antioxidant support.
The cream may be used to help manage the appearance of melasma, sun-induced pigmentation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and dark marks left by acne or skin irritation.
Results vary depending on the cause of pigmentation, skin type and consistency of use.
