Univir 200mg contains acyclovir, an antiviral that interferes with viral DNA replication. It is used for the treatment of initial and recurrent herpes simplex infections and selected varicella-zoster virus infections.

How to Take
- Take exactly as prescribed.
- Swallow with water.
- Maintain adequate fluid intake during treatment.
- Start treatment as early as possible when prescribed for recurrent infection.
Precautions
- Prescription medicine.
- Dose adjustment may be required in people with kidney impairment.
- Inform your healthcare professional about kidney disease or dehydration.
- Complete the prescribed course.
- Acyclovir does not eliminate herpes viruses from the body or necessarily prevent transmission.
