Clonidine 0.1mg Tablets reduce blood pressure by stimulating alpha₂ receptors in the brain, decreasing sympathetic nerve activity and relaxing blood vessels. This lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart.
Treatment should be individualized according to the patient’s blood pressure response. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided, as it may cause rebound hypertension.
