Arpimune ME 25mg Capsules contain the modified (microemulsion) formulation of cyclosporine, which provides more predictable absorption than conventional cyclososporine formulations. Cyclosporine suppresses immune system activity by inhibiting T-lymphocyte activation.
It is indicated for the prevention of rejection following kidney, liver, and heart transplantation, and for selected autoimmune conditions including severe rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, nephrotic syndrome, and certain cases of severe atopic dermatitis when appropriate.
