Indications:
- Used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer.

Commonly prescribed together with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogues or after surgical castration to help control cancer growth.
Administration:
- The usual dose is one tablet (50mg) once daily, swallowed whole with water or as directed by an oncologist.
- Can be taken with or without food, but should be taken at the same time each day.
- Treatment duration is determined by your oncologist, often as long-term therapy.
Safety Information:
- Do not use if you are allergic to bicalutamide or any of the tablet’s ingredients.
- Not suitable for women or children.
- Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, heart problems, or are taking blood thinners (e.g., warfarin).
- Common side effects: hot flushes, breast tenderness or enlargement, tiredness, constipation, and nausea.
- Less common but serious effects: liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes), shortness of breath, chest pain, or severe skin reactions.
- Regular liver function tests and medical reviews are recommended during treatment.
