Indications of Cyclophosphamide:
- Treatment of lymphomas (Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma).
- Treatment of leukemias (blood cancers).
- Used in multiple myeloma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and other solid tumors.
- May also be used in bone marrow transplantation and certain severe autoimmune conditions as prescribed by a specialist.
Administration:
- Supplied as a powder for reconstitution. It must be dissolved in sterile fluid before use.
- Administered by intravenous infusion or injection under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
- Dose and frequency depend on body surface area, type of cancer, and treatment protocol.
- Adequate hydration and sometimes protective medicines (e.g., mesna) are given to reduce the risk of bladder irritation.
Safety Information:
- Do not use if allergic to cyclophosphamide or any of its components.
